Nepal version of a rest area. Almost all cooking in the mountain areas are done over a fire and usually indoor. The man in front was cutting up onions.
Prayer wheels usually meet you at the entrance to each village. Spin away.
Is that one of your guides sitting in the foreground at the "rest area"? How many times a year do the guides make the trek? Do they switch up which route they do, or do they become a master at one or two specific routes?
