Karte to Chame - Thursday 17th

Second day on the feet and all systems are checking in well with a few minor aches and pains but all in all really good given 18+hours on the trails.

Had a great start today and the views are tremendous.  One postcard view after another.

Yes those are clouds not too high above

A typical day starts with cofee or tea at 6am or 6:30.  Pack up your stuff from the night before and breakfast at 7. Then onto the trail by 7:30.

Usually there is a tea stop around 10:30, lunch at 1:00 and then you end up getting to your final destination for the day around 4:30 or 5:00.  Once there it's hot tea and biscuits (lots of tea, huh?) and then dinner between 6:30 and 7pm.  Tonight's dinner was onion soup and potato momos (dumplings) that were pretty darn good given where I'm at.

 Yum

We're close to 10,000 feet where will be for the next 10 days or so maxing out at over 16,300 feet.

Off to bed, the 10hr 45min time change is still at play a little bit.
